Great except for firing pin May 3, 2017
Reviewer: C. Beer from Castro Valley, CA United States
This is the 4th complete upper I've bought from Radical Firearms and I love every one of them.  I have 2 in 300 Blk, a 458 SOCOM and this 7.62 x 39.  Overall I am amazed at the quality for the price.  The accuracy is incredible.  This one is the first that I've had issues with, however.  The first is relatively minor.  The bolt is melonite, but the carrier is not even though the description says melonite bolt carrier group.  The main issue is, though, that they did not include an enhanced firing pin which really should be standard on any 7.62 x 39 AR bolt, IMO.  The one I got is so light that it isn't even 80% reliable on top quality, brass cased, boxer primed ammo.  It flat out doesn't work on my Wolf steel cased ammo at all.  That's the only reason for my 4 stars.  If I could give it 4 1/2, I would, maybe even 4 3/4, but I think it's significant enough to knock it off of 5.
