Perfect 2nd Upper April 11, 2022 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Manitowoc, WI United States   I was looking for a second upper assembly for my PSA lower, something bigger than the .223 Wylde for hunting whitetail.  Frankly, I was cautious due to the unbelievable price for the 300 BLK.  After checking out the reviews, and calling RF to answer a couple of my questions (great customer service), I ordered.  The upper arrived in less than 2 weeks in great packaging.  I pinned it with no issues with a decent fit.  My standard PSA BCG and CH fit right in. I mounted a cheap Bushnell I had laying around, after buying a 3/4" riser block.  Walmart had cheap Rem UMC 120gr, so I bought a couple boxes.  After a quick swab with a bore snake, I ran a few rounds to dial in the scope...everything worked flawlessly.  Once sighted in, I was EXTREMELY pleased with the accuracy and grouping.  I wish I found this upper before buying the Bear Creek Armory .223 for $100 more...damn! Excellent upper at a better price!  Recommending Radical Firearms to all AR enthusiasts. Was this review helpful to you?

Perfect April 11, 2022 Reviewer: David from Frankfort, KY United States   Read many comments all over the place that 16" barrels with pistol gas system were extra dead weight or could even hinder performance. Rolled the dice, and was not shocked to find it arrived in perfect condition just as the other item I had previously ordered had. Fit and finish were spot on. Some say these aren't "true mil-spec" and if that makes them sleep better for paying absurd markups, so be it. Measure it yourself if you purchase. Same dimensions, same materials and assembly, same finish. Durability hasn't been an issue for the 5.56 upper and I doubt the .300 will be any different. Paired with a Rock River lower and Vortex Spitfire 1x. Added an AFG to the free float rail and off to the range. On target immediately and stayed there throughout the day. 600 rounds later it is still dead nuts on at 50-100 (my range limitation) and has cycled every type of ammo available. I tried each one. Remington supersonic 120 OTFB works best. Was this review helpful to you?

Great upper for Plinking, Target, or hunting. May 10, 2017 Reviewer: david wong from garden grove , CA United States   bought this about a year ago and has put about 500 rounds through it and it works very well.  at 50 yards I'm hitting groups .5 inch big drilling my rounds through the hole time after time.  this upper i set up as a plinker and my Semi Auto hunting rifle and i have already harvested a couple of deer with it.  only thing i have to say is the hand guard is a little big but can change it easily.  over all great upper and will look into buying another upper either another 300 black out or a 5.56 upper. Worth the wait. July 9, 2016 Reviewer: Paul Heglund from Middlesex, NC United States   It took 13 weeks but It came. It was worth the wait. I ordered a 300 blackout 16in FGS upper with 12 inch FGS free float Hand guard and 11 slot FGS rail. Finnish and fit to my AllStar Tactical lower are excellent, Tested 3 types of ammo thru it with no problems what so ever. All were supersonic. Precision one's 150gr Ballistic tip, Defender Ammunition's 150gr Sierra HPBT and Remington UMC 120gr OTM. Fired a total of 50 rounds, no FTF-eject or fire and that's with a 3 lb JP interprise trigger. Accuracy was best with the UMC putting in a 1inch group due to a dbl tap with 3 out of 4 rounds cutting just over a 1/4 inch. All groups fired at 75 yards from a bench. The other 2 were both 1 1/2 inch. I read complaints that some folks where getting their uppers with loose hand guard screws, miss-aligned gas blocks and shot out barrels. Not in this upper. Everything was solid on arrival and inspection straight out of the box. Was this review helpful to you?

Worth the Wait! June 26, 2016 Reviewer: Jerad Rardin from Columbus, GA United States   It will take a while to get your upper! Mine took well over the the 8 week schedule. I have a feeling this is related to the demand for a well priced decent upper. That said, this upper is worth the wait. It is an incredible piece for such a low price!  You could pay more, but why? The Waiting is the Hardest Part June 24, 2016 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from CA United States   Would love to review but it's been over 9 weeks and it still hasn't shipped. I'd understand if it was a complicated build, but I didn't even order a BCG with it. Very frustrating. The quality could be great for the price, but the wait is crazy. Hopefully I'll get to see it soon. Edit: Finally received it, about 3 months after ordering. The product is great. It's very well made, shoots everything I feed it. Would not hesitate to take it hunting or set it up for defensive use. Was this review helpful to you?
