The Radical Firearms M4 Upper Receiver is a flat top, law-enforcement grade, drop in receiver, ready to be mounted to any Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receiver! This fully mil-spec compliant receiver provides a high-quality upper for any level budget or shooter. Comes complete and assembled with Upper Receiver, Forward Assist, Ejection Port Door, RF Barrel Nut. 16" HBAR Barrel and A2 Flash Hider. Our free-float handguard: Forward Guard Shield (FGS) keeps your hands cool and provides plenty of room for accessories. The FGS rail even has the capability to add attachments other than on the top picatinny rail, as it does allow Magpul Moe attachments and rail sections.

5 of 5 Great upper smoking price. April 11, 2022

I ordered this with the BCG and standard charging handle and birdcage flashhider with the 12" hand gaurd (glad I went with the longer one).  Order processing was fast, shipping was fast, 10 days from order to recieving upper.  Took out today and ran flawlessly on my PSA lower, iron sights great grouping (as good as the shooter).  Fit and finish is good, only thing I saw was the hand gaurd was loose upon arrival and the screws had no loctite on them...a little blue locktite and it was good to go.  Ate brass and steel ammo great using ASC mags.  Very impressed!

Ive build several ARs and I will this unit is solid and accurate. The bolt, rail and barrel are all great quaility. I will buy another soon in this same chamber. I truely believe is shoot straighter than my dpms recon, adams, or spikes. The bottomline is if your building, try one of these and you will not regret the investment. Certainly boss and choice if you understand my terminology.

Was considering a Ruger Mini-30 to get into the 7.63x39 shooting; a friend advised the issues with AR's and reliability had been resolved, primarily due to better magazines. Found RF had great pricing on 7.62 uppers, and cannot be more pleased with fit, finish and accuracy. Zero failures to function with several different mags (ASC brand). Glad I went the RF route!
Only way it could be better was if an 18-20" barrel was offered.

After months of reading and seeing all the problems with 7.62x39 AR builds, I was skeptical about building one. I came across this upper for less than I could possibly build one for, so I figured I'd take a chance on it, not expecting great quality with a price this low.

Wow, was I wrong.  This thing is solid. This upper just feels right.  It is incredibly comfortable and very well balanced.  This thing had zero problems cycling the cheapest Tulammo 154gr SP ammo money can buy. With a red dot, it is cutting the same hole at 50 yds.  

If you are in the same boat as I was on the 7.62x39 AR after reading all of the nightmares people have had making them work, look no further.  Do yourself a favor: stop searching and buy this upper and a couple of C-products mags.  I honestly cannot say enough good things about this upper.  After spending a month with this upper, I am now in the market for more products from Radical Firearms.  The bang for your buck with these guys is unbelievable.
