I purchased this upper for a build. The upper shipped within a couple of weeks, which was a pleasant surprise. I have since fired 200 rounds of various steel cased ammo through it with no malfunctions.
Also, the system runs fine with the standard carbine buffer/spring in case this was a concern in you build.

I bought this upper as part of an AR10 build. I was please with the upper with the exception of the ejection port cover. That looked a little cheap to me. Once I received the gun and took it out and shot it, I was more than pleased. A common problem with 7.62's is the light primer strikes and magazine feed issues. I looked at the shell casings from the first 30 rounds and the primer strikes were consistent and deep. Not a single issue. I am using C Products Defense mags and not a single feed issue with it and it was loaded with all 30 rounds loaded to the mag. This is the first Radical Firearms product I have purchased but if the same performance is seen in the future as I continue to put more rounds down range, this won't be the last Radical Firearms product I purchase.

What a pleasure to shoot. I put 200 rounds of Tula ammo thru this upper today with no feeding or ejection problems and 2 light strikes. Very reliable product. I was shooting at a 3x6" plate at 200 yards with no problem.
It took about 10 weeks from order to delivery which I didn't think was bad at all. The customer service department was fantastic when I did email and ask for an update. I would definitely buy more from Radical.

Added an enhanced firing pin and extra power hammer spring before taking it out for the first time.  Shot steel-cased, Russian ammo for 5 hours and not a single issue........feeding or otherwise.  Using just iron sights, I had shots touching at 50 yards and and several bull's eyes at 100.  I'm sure it would be even better with better quality ammo and just a budget optic.  None the less, this upper is reliable and accurate even with the cheap ammo.

600+ rounds still NO problems
I've used C Products mags exclusively not one issue.  I went target shooting with my son calling shots.  His 556 vs my 762.  It was a tie.  He was using a $300 scope and I was using a $80 UTG.  We matched shot for shot.  We are not marksmen, but I'm convinced.  I have a semi-auto 30-30 that's reliable, accurate, and cheap to shoot.

5 of 5 Superb Accuracy with cheap steel case ammo!! March 21, 2016

I purchased one of these uppers a few months ago, I also had issues with detonation of the steel case ammo, which is the main reason I got it. I sorted thru the issues I came to grasp wit, changed out the trigger group to a two stage Rockriver, still had issues with detonation. changed out the hammer spring with a Wolff extra power hammer spring & an enhanced firing pen that solved my detonation problems,
10 rd Mag followers I modified to resemble ASC 30 rd & no more issues.
It is very Accurate with cheap ammo 1.5" groups @ 100 yds.
